Whether in times of heartache, crisis, or illness, the church has a responsibility to be a beacon of light in the world and a symbol of God’s love. By learning how to counsel others in times of trauma, connect to others in the hardships of life, and maintain an approachable presence in secular environments, all believers can participate in ministry and bring the church into the world.
Join Dr. Frank Crank in this comprehensive and practical teaching on connecting the church to the community. With his expertise in teaching community chaplaincy at the collegiate level, Dr. Crank is an excellent resource on crisis outreach, community engagement, and ministry in secular contexts. This course is the perfect place to start if you need to get your foot in the door in any of these endeavors.
