Jim Harris

Jim Harris is a devoted missionary and co-founder of Relevant Expeditions, a faith-driven ministry established in 2005 alongside his wife, Pat Harris, to deliver humanitarian relief and the Gospel to marginalized communities across Asia. Sparked by the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, Jim’s calling led him to serve in over a dozen countries, where he has spent nearly two decades transforming lives through church planting, rebuilding homes, providing fishing boats to restore livelihoods, and supporting children’s homes that have impacted over 300 vulnerable children, like Sorn Malaka, a Cambodian girl whose life was reshaped through safety, education, and faith. His leadership, grounded in values of peace, justice, and freedom, has built a global network of churches, donors, and partners, expanding Relevant Expeditions’ reach beyond its original vision. Alongside Pat, Jim has cultivated lasting friendships and a legacy of love, mentoring local leaders and changing lives one relationship at a time, all while pursuing a vision for eternal impact in some of the world’s most challenging regions.
