Dr. Mark Williams

Reverend Mark L. Williams, a distinguished minister and educator, serves as an instructor at ISOW School of Ministry, bringing decades of leadership and pastoral experience to his transformative courses. He now serves as the Third Assistant General Overseer of the Church of God. As former Lead Pastor of North Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, and former General Overseer of the Church of God (Cleveland, TN) from 2012 to 2016, he has guided one of the denomination’s most historic congregations and its global network of over 8 million members. Holding a BA from Lee University, an M.Div. and D.Min. from Pentecostal Theological Seminary, and an Honorary Doctor of Divinity from Lee University, Dr. Williams combines deep theological insight with practical ministry expertise. Married to Sandra Kay, with two sons, he draws on his extensive experience in church governance, preaching, and mentorship to equip ISOW students for effective ministry. His courses emphasize Spirit-led leadership, biblical preaching, and kingdom impact, making him a vital part of ISOW’s mission to provide accessible, transformative education.
