Edwin Lipsey

Pastor Edwin Lipsey, Lead Pastor of South Cleveland Church of God in Cleveland, Tennessee, brings over 34 years of pastoral ministry experience, having planted three churches in Texas. Since 1992, he has partnered with his wife, Dawn, a credentialed Church of God minister with a business degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Dawn serves as the church’s Office Administrator and Arise Women Pastor, and was elected chairwoman of the Tennessee State Ministries Board in 2022. They have three children—Payton, Easton, and Ethan—a son-in-law, Zech, and a dog, Mr. Higgins. Known as the “fittest pastor in Cleveland,” Edwin is developing a wedding pavilion on a 36-acre farm. He serves on the Church of God World Missions Board and leads community outreach.
