About Karen Wheaton

Karen Wheaton, a seasoned Christian minister, began singing on Praise the Lord at 17, later founding the Ramp in Hamilton, Alabama, in 1998. Married to Rick Towe, CEO of the Ramp, they have four children, 11 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Raised in a Pentecostal home, Karen’s family includes her parents, Bill and Nell Harris, and sister, Janet. Her hobbies include playing with grandchildren and exploring nature.
