Who really started the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? You're likely only hearing one side of the story. This course explores the history of Israel — its land and its people, and their ongoing historical conflict with a people group now commonly referred to as Palestinians.
Instructor Bill Cloud explores the historical significance of Gaza, the Hebrew and Arabic meaning of “hamas,” and the origin of the words Palestine and Palestinian, providing clarifying insights into unfolding current events.
Bill also examines God’s promises to and purpose for Israel, urging the church to take a proactive stance by advocating for Israel, speaking in its defense, and “praying for the peace of Jerusalem.”
